Mengyu (Bonnie) Chen

Hello! Bonjour! 你好!

I'm a 2nd year master student from Chongqing University, majoring in human-computer interaction (HCI). Now I'm a visiting student at University of Washington in Seattle.

My research interest lies in HCI, visual analytics, crowdsourcing and cognitive science. Currently I focus on investigating how humans perceive, interpret, and make decisions from visualized data. Ultimately, my long term research ambition is to make technologies inclusive and equitable for people (e.g., with varying level of domain expertise and abilities), as well as build a trustworthy online environment by combining the advantages of humans and AI.

I'm actively looking for a PhD position in 2022 spring/fall! Be in touch! Topics that I'm particularly excited about include but are not limited to: human-AI collaboration, data science support, interactive visualization, responsible AI, and online commmunity.
